Visit us when you need urgent, but not life-threatening care. When it is not serious enough to wait in the Emergency Department but cannot wait for a booking with your regular GP. This may include:
minor infections
minor fractures, sprains, sports injuries and neck and back pain
urinary tract infections (UTIs)
sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
minor cuts
insect bites and rashes
minor eye and ear problems
respiratory illness
gastroenteritis
mild burns.

No, the service is walk-in only.

The UCCs are a separate operation to the general practice and provides free bulk-billed, walk-in medical care when there’s an urgent problem that isn’t a life-threatening emergency.
If you have a Medicare card, (or know the number), bring it with you when you attend Tweed Valley UCC.
After you have visit a summary of important information about your urgent presentation will be provided to you and your usual GP so you can follow up with your own GP.

We are unable to take phone calls at this time as our focus is on providing care for those patients attending Tweed Heads Medicare UCC.
